Shopping centres in Hong Kong are characterised by short rental periods. Given the continuous change in the nature
of tenants’ business, the demand on utilities, such as electricity, air conditioning and water, will also vary. To optimise
the energy performance of the various systems, regular post-occupancy commissioning is considered necessary,
particularly after renewal of a major leasing contract.
