4.5.4 Certified wood products
Certified wood is sourced from forests participating in an approved and certified sustainable forest management
programme. Buying certified wood products provides the assurance of manufacturing from certified sources using neither
an unsustainable manner of extraction nor causing harmful depletion of valuable forests.

There are many creditable organisations that carry out forest certification and have unbiased opinions
to assist in making decisions when choosing certified wood products.
